Giancarlo Toma, Service Desk Technician Level II, provides exceptional customer service to our clients for their technical issues and needs. Giancarlo joins Groff NetWorks with a plethora of customer service experience from previous positions at Best Buy, Capital Communications Federal Credit Union, and Sunmark Federal Credit Union. While obtaining his degree in Computer Information Systems at Hudson Valley Community College, he entered the IT industry as a Microsoft 365 Ambassador with Zones, learning the ins and outs of the service and supporting Microsoft’s millions of customers worldwide. After departing from Zones, Carlo left to be the sole member of The ARC of Rensselaer County’s IT department, becoming the single point of contact for the county’s largest employer with over 600 employees. You can find him making dinners and desserts in the kitchen in his spare time as he loves to cook and bake, watching his favorites sports teams, and entrepreneurship. Carlo deeply cherishes his time with family and friends and loves to travel and visit unfamiliar places. Giancarlo takes pride in the service he provides to Groff’s clients and ensures he is up to date with industry-standard practices and procedures. He is a sponge for knowledge, constantly working to improve and learn new skills to best assist in any way he can.
